Meyer Farms

The farm began as a personal endeavor to improve the food supply for the family, particularly for their son Andrew who struggled with food allergies. As they researched the conventional food supply, they were shocked by what they found and decided to raise as much of their own food as possible. This initiative soon expanded as family and friends began requesting their produce, leading to the realization that many shared their concerns about the broken food system.

The farm uses heritage breed animals, specifically Large Black Hogs and Berkshires, chosen for their ability to pasture and the quality of their meat. These breeds are raised in natural conditions.

The farm's journey from a family-focused project to a community-supported venture highlights the growing awareness and demand for quality over quantity in food production.
