About the Farm

Background

Located next to the Souhegan River in Milford, NH, this family-owned farm has been cultivating fruits and vegetables for over 75 years. Less than an hour's drive from Boston, the farm has become a staple in the community, known for its participation in local farmers' markets and its seasonal farm stand.

Practices

The farm emphasizes a relaxed, low-key picking experience, inviting visitors to enjoy the fresh air and fresh apples. They grow several varieties of apples, including Paula Reds, McIntosh, Cortlands, Mustu, Jonagold, and Roxbury Russets, harvested from late August through October. Their commitment to quality produce is evident in their CSA (Harvest Subscription) program, which offers a 12-week supply of farm-fresh fruits and vegetables starting in August.

The Rest

The farm is a proud member of the NH Fruit Growers Association, NH Farm Bureau, and NH Made. They have been featured in publications like Monadnock Table and Hippo Press. For updates and picking conditions, customers can follow them on Facebook and Instagram. The farm also participates in NH Eat Local Month and is known for its community engagement and dedication to local agriculture.
