About the Farm

Background

Named by Southern Living as one of the South’s most unique U-pick farms, Many Rivers Farm has become known for its diverse offerings of heirloom and modern fruit varieties. Visitors can enjoy not only the fruits themselves but also delightful beverages like blackberry lemonade, peach tea, and cider slushies.

Practices

The farm employs compost and cover crops to nurture the soil, uses wood chips for moisture retention and weed suppression, and plants wildflowers to attract pollinators. Pest management is achieved through the use of molasses and other bug traps. These methods reflect a commitment to maintaining soil health and supporting the local ecosystem.

The Rest

Picking appointments are available from June to October. Visitors are encouraged to check the 'What’s Ripe' page for current picking schedules, prices, and other details. The farm also offers updates on upcoming products and picking dates through an email sign-up.
