About the Farm

Background

Gary and Amy began farming on Comfort Road in 1984 with the help of Bob Pierson, then president of the Bucks County Conservancy. The property needed significant revitalization, and their family supported them in bringing it back to life. Known for their amazing peaches, especially the old-fashioned varieties, the farm has continued to grow with the help of community members and their own children. The cidery was started in 2018 to share their love for natural, dry, and slightly sparkling hard cider.

Practices

The farm focuses on growing fruit and creating delicious products from it. They use high tunnels to grow strawberries, and their apples are stored very cold to maintain quality throughout the winter. Fresh cider is pressed weekly without pasteurization or preservatives, ensuring a natural product. The hard cider is made from their own fruit and fermented dry.

The Rest

The farm offers pick-your-own blueberries and has a variety of jams, applesauce, natural fruit butters, and other local items available year-round. Fresh cider pressing starts in late September, and the farm market is open all year. Outdoor seating is available next to the orchard, and the farm hosts events such as corporate outings and cider tastings. Visitors are encouraged to check into the market upon arrival and keep children close due to the busy nature of the farm.
