About the Farm

Background

Majesty Farm is a small, family-owned operation known for its dedication to providing fresh, healthfully raised foods. Over the years, they have developed a diverse range of livestock and produce offerings, including beef and dairy cattle, dairy and meat goats, pastured lamb, and seasonal vegetables and poultry. They have built a reputation for quality over quantity, focusing on sustainable practices and local agriculture.

Practices

All beef cattle, sheep, and meat goats are solely on pasture free of pesticides and herbicides, supplemented with free-choice kelp and Redmond mineral salts, and hay in the winter. No hormone implants, fly control medicines, or routine vaccines or antibiotics are used. Milk cows and goats receive a grain ration in the milking shed consisting of corn, oats, barley, alfalfa pellets, flax seed, sunflower seeds, distiller grain, probiotics, and yeast, with a focus on predominantly organic ingredients. The farm ensures all milkers are soy-free to promote well-digested dairy products. Their approach emphasizes natural and chemical-free methods to maintain the health of their animals and the quality of their products.

The Rest

Majesty Farm offers a variety of products including pastured beef sold by the quarter, half, or whole, and pastured chevon and lamb by the half or whole, with delivery available in June and October. Fresh raw dairy products, soaps made from chemical-free fats, duck and chicken eggs, herbs, vegetables, and pastured poultry are available seasonally. Family milk goats, pet goats, and brush goats are also available. The meat is processed and dry-aged locally by a USDA-inspected, family-owned slaughterhouse. Scheduled visits to the farm are welcomed, though drop-in visits are discouraged due to the farm's busy operations.
