About the Farm

Background

Since 2008, this farm has been running a farm share program that has grown to 50 shares. Located in Concord, MI, it serves areas within 100 miles south of Mt. Pleasant and is expanding delivery locations to include Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Jackson, Lansing, and several Metro Detroit locations.

Practices

The farm employs Intensively Managed Rotation Grazing Methods, Day Ranging, Free Ranging, and Tractor Ranging for their livestock. Beef and lamb are exclusively pastured with no grain, while poultry and pigs are pastured and receive supplemental feeds that are Certified Organic, non-GMO, and free from antibiotics, hormones, fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides.

The Rest

The farm offers tours for members, the public, and homeschoolers, providing an opportunity to learn more about their farming practices and livestock.
