About the Farm

Background

Lost Weekend Farms began as a playful nod to how the founders spent their spare time, evolving into a collection of fields, a small orchard, and a vineyard in Neely's Bend, northeast of Nashville. With roots in backyard orchards and gardens, the founders have been growing for themselves and friends for 15 years before expanding to revive family-farmed land that has been cultivated for nearly a century.

Practices

Committed to natural growing methods, the farm reintroduces older open-pollinated crops native to Tennessee and nearby regions. Though not yet certified organic, all produce meets the standards for sustainable 'green' growing operations. The farm emphasizes stewardship of the land, growing food the 'old fashioned' way, and ensuring that everything sold is something they would feed their own families.

The Rest

Visitors can find Lost Weekend Farms at Nashville area farmers markets, offering a variety of fresh produce, cornmeal, dried beans, and microgreens. They also collaborate with Maid-N-Meadows to provide raw, grass-fed cheeses and explore unique flavor profiles in their spice lab. The farm offers products like the Good Life Box and participates in CSA programs.
