About the Farm
Background
LoganBerry Heritage Farm spans 60 acres in the mountains of North Georgia and is stewarded by a fifth-generation granddaughter. The farm is known for its dedication to heritage foods and traditional farming practices.
Practices
Farming methods include composting, compost tea sprays, remineralization, crop rotation, cover-cropping, using heritage seeds, promoting biodiversity, building organic matter in the soil, raised bed systems, on-site greenhouse, and plant propagation. The farm also practices seed-saving, with many seeds sourced from family and community. A small herd of heritage breed Tarentaise cattle are pasture-raised and intensively grazed, being 100% grass-fed.
The Rest
An online farm market features weekly harvest offerings, and special on-site markets are held occasionally. Check the website for up-to-date hours.
