About the Farm
Background
For nearly 15 years, the farm has been bringing potatoes to the table each season, cultivating a committed customer following. Initially focused on dry-farmed potatoes, the farm has diversified its crops over time, producing strawberries and vegetables across five separate fields in West Petaluma, Tomales, and Bloomfield.
Practices
The farm employs dry farming techniques, which conserve water and enhance the flavor of their produce. Recently, they have incorporated a small amount of irrigation to grow lettuces, brassicas, swiss chard, and other crops that thrive in the coastal Marin environment. The adaptive nature of their farming practices allows them to shift and innovate as needed.
The Rest
Internships may be available, offering shared housing on the farm and a stipend. The farm is dedicated to feeding the community with flavorful and nutritious produce.
