About the Farm

Background

Joey grew up in Rincon Valley of Santa Rosa and began farming organic vegetables and fruits on his parents' land. In 2012, a small Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program was started, offering diverse and fresh veggie boxes for 26 weeks of the year, capped at 25 spaces to ensure a special experience for each member.

Practices

The farm is committed to improving the land through diversity and resource-conscious growing practices. Certified Organic, they utilize a hoop house built in early 2014 for season-extension and have planted many shallots in it. The farm emphasizes the importance of biodiversity, including a love for bees and birds.

The Rest

Visitors can expect a huge diversity of flowers, fruits, and vegetables at the farmers market stand. The farm enjoys discussing different ways to eat and cook vegetables and offers CSA pick-up near the fairgrounds in Santa Rosa.
