Lazy C Beef

For nearly 80 years, the Lazy C Ranch has been dedicated to growing grass and raising beef, serving not only themselves but also extended family, friends, and neighbors. The ranch, now managed by Scott and his family, is a fourth-generation operation that began with Scott's grandfather, who purchased a small farm and sought out grass pastures for summer grazing. Over the years, Scott's father expanded the ranch, instilling a love for the land and animals in Scott, who continues the family tradition today.

The ranch prides itself on raising Angus and Angus/Hereford cross cattle on high-altitude meadows, ensuring the beef is free of growth stimulants, hormones, animal by-products, and feed antibiotics. They emphasize a high level of commitment to both their animals and the grasses and legumes they consume. The management skills employed at the ranch aim to maintain the rangeland, water, grass, and environment in harmony, leaving a better legacy for future generations.
