About the Farm

Background

The Landess Farm has been in the family since 1920, representing three generations of dedicated farming. Seventeen years ago, the family decided to focus on raising high-quality fruits and vegetables. Over the years, they have expanded their strawberry fields sixfold and are known for their sweet corn and other produce. Jesse and Jeff Landess, representing the third and fourth generations, continue to manage the farm with the help of their children and grandchildren.

Practices

The farm is committed to growing the cleanest, freshest, and most nutritious produce. They carefully choose the crops they plant and evaluate partnerships to ensure like-minded growing practices. The farm respects the land they cultivate and the bodies they nourish, emphasizing non-GMO produce.

The Rest

The farm offers u-pick and already picked strawberries, along with other produce like sweet corn, tomatoes, melons, onions, and potatoes. They host seasonal events such as a Fall festival featuring a 10-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides, and baked goods. The farm also sells homemade jams and offers tours and special events. Customers can place orders for pick-up or shop online.
