Ladd's Family Farm

Starting in January, the farm takes orders for pasture-raised chickens and Thanksgiving turkeys on a first-come, first-served basis. They sell their products at the Farmington Farmer's Market and directly from the farm.

The farm employs organic practices, avoiding the use of hormones and chemicals. Their animals, including chickens, turkeys, goats, and Jersey cows, are pasture-raised. They also produce pastured eggs from spring to fall and offer fryer rabbit when available.

In addition to livestock and produce, the farm sells compost, rabbit manure, and started garden plants. They are members of the Weston A. Price Foundation and the American Pastured Poultry Producers Association. Visitors are encouraged to call and tour the farm.
