Knutson Farm

A third-generation farm located near Volga, SD, the operation is owned and managed by a family passionate about holistic farming. The farm has grown to include 120 head of registered Black Angus cattle and spans 480 acres of land. The herd was started from one of the most recognized herds for quality genetics in the US.

The farm's cattle are exclusively grass-fed from conception to finish, with no use of GMOs, antibiotics, added growth hormones, or chemical fertilizers on pastures and hay crops. The farm focuses on giving the animals what they were naturally made to consume, ensuring high-quality beef with desirable marbling qualities. Performance genetics are a key factor, allowing the cattle to finish and be processed around 18-20 months of age, ensuring tenderness and flavor.
