Kiss the Cow Farm

Owned and operated by Randy and Lisa Robar, the farm has grown over the past several years into a dynamic, small, diversified operation focused on feeding the local community. The farm hosts WWOOFers and interns to help with chores and train new farmers.

The farm invests in soil improvements through nutrient amendments, intensive grazing, and clipping. They have added infrastructure such as greenhouses, a poultry processing shed, and various equipment to support their operations. The farm emphasizes organic practices and grass-based dairy farming.

The farm sells products through a farm store, seasonal CSAs, weekly farmers' markets, and area co-ops. They also offer a CSA program that supports other local farms and food processors, fostering a strong agricultural community.
