About the Farm
Background
Kirk Farm, formerly known as Kemp Farm, has been in the family for over one hundred years. Initially a dairy and chicken farm until 1967, it transitioned in 1972 to raising dairy replacements and beef. In 1998, the farm adopted a healthier, natural method of production, continuing to evolve its practices over the decades.
Practices
Since 1998, the farm has utilized natural methods, avoiding chemical fertilizers and sprays. Vegetables are grown using organic and sustainable practices, emphasizing the health of the soil and ecosystem.
The Rest
Products include vegetables, cut flowers, eggs, and honey, which are sold through several local farmer's markets in season.
