King Family Hazelnuts began as a produce business with a CSA program in 2011. In 2015, the hazelnut branch of the business was established to process and package hazelnuts grown by King Family Farms, Inc. The farm is operated by a mother and her two daughters. The family has a deep-rooted passion for agriculture, with members holding degrees in horticulture and agricultural education. The farm's journey started with farmers markets and expanded to include a certified kitchen for hazelnut processing. By 2018, they had built a new facility with a commercial kitchen, office, and warehouse.

The farm emphasizes maintaining the nutritional value of hazelnuts while adding light seasonings for flavor. They grow, harvest, and process their hazelnuts on-site, ensuring quality control and freshness. The family’s agricultural practices are informed by their educational backgrounds and hands-on experience, fostering a deep connection to the land and sustainable farming methods.

King Family Hazelnuts offers their products in various package sizes, including 1-ounce, 8-ounce, and 16-ounce packages, as well as bulk options. They have developed unique flavors such as Brown Sugar with a hint of orange, Cinnamon Sugar, Garlic Parmesan, Lightly Salted, Sweet & Spicy, Ranch, and Unsalted. Additionally, they offer Milk and Dark Chocolate Clusters. The farm's products are marketed as heart-healthy snacks rich in antioxidants and essential nutrients, making them excellent brain food.
