About the Farm
Background
Kilpatrick Family Farm was started by Philip and Michael Kilpatrick in 2003. Michael now runs the farm with a dedicated crew, continuing the tradition of providing a wide range of crops to meet customer demands.
Practices
The farm manages over 100 acres of land, dedicating 4 to 6 acres each year to vegetable cultivation. They grow a diverse array of crops, from common vegetables like carrots, beets, potatoes, and lettuce to more specialized varieties such as fennel, celeriac, and Jerusalem artichokes.
The Rest
Produce is marketed through various channels including Farmer's Markets in Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), and limited chef and wholesale accounts.
