About the Farm
Background
The farm is operated by 3rd and 4th generation family farmers who have dedicated themselves to raising high-quality beef cattle. They are known for their Angus and Hereford breeds, chosen for their superior marbling characteristics.
Practices
The cattle forage on continually rotated fresh pastures and never receive synthetic growth hormones. Antibiotics are only used when absolutely necessary for the health and welfare of an animal. The pastures are free from artificial fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. The farm also cuts and bales its own red clover, lespedeza, fescue, and orchard grass hay for winter feed.
The Rest
The farm offers beef year-round in Quarter, Half, or Whole Beef options. The beef is processed in a small, family-owned USDA inspected facility and is dry aged for a minimum of 14-21 days before being cut into various forms such as ground beef, steaks, roasts, brisket, and soup bones. They emphasize building trust and a sense of partnership with their customers.
