Located in Scio and Sisters, Oregon, J/K Cattle Ranch, Inc. specializes in breeding and raising high-quality Wagyu and Wagyu/Angus beef. The ranch has established a reputation for producing 'American Kobe' beef, which is celebrated for its exceptional marbling and flavor.
Practices
The cattle are 100% grassfed and pasture raised, ensuring a natural diet without the use of hormones or unnecessary antibiotics. The ranch's full blood bull descends from Hirashigetayasu, a notable imported sire from Japan, while the pureblood heifers trace their lineage to Fukutsuru 068 and Michifuku, both renowned for their superior marbling characteristics.
The Rest
The beef is dry-aged for a minimum of 21 days to enhance its flavor and tenderness. Customers can purchase the beef by the quarter or half hanging weight, or opt for individual USDA certified packaged cuts, including steaks, roasts, and ground beef.
