About the Farm
Background
Founded out of frustration with the lack of quality ingredients in grocery stores, the farm began by offering a wide variety of fresh mushrooms from Gary's family's farms at local farmers markets. In 2020, they expanded to raising their own full-flavored chicken and turkey. Although they no longer sell at farmers markets, they now partner with local farms and businesses to distribute their products.
Practices
The farm raises both heritage and conventional breed chickens, and heritage breed turkeys, with an emphasis on pasture-raised methods. This approach ensures the poultry has access to natural foraging, contributing to their rich flavor and quality. The mushrooms are cultivated with care to provide a diverse selection for home chefs.
The Rest
Customers can pre-order turkeys for holiday meals and purchase chickens in bulk with a minimum order of 10. The farm offers periodic on-farm pick-up for bulk mushrooms and collaborates with local partners to make their products accessible. The farm's mission is to provide flavorful, local ingredients that enhance home cooking.
