Honey Brook Farms

Growing up in North Dakota, the founders' grandparents instilled in them a love for farming and the importance of raising quality food. In 2011, the family officially commenced their farm, inspired by the values and practices of their ancestors. They transitioned from suburban life to farming, driven by a calling to provide wholesome food for their community.

The farm employs organic and holistic methods to build up the soil and maintain healthy ecosystems. They use rich organic material, rotational and successional plantings, and row covers to minimize pests and diseases. Animals are moved rotationally across chemical-free pastures, foraging on local grasses, clover, and flowers. Beef and lamb are 100% grass-fed and finished, while chickens, turkeys, egg layers, and pigs are supplemented with Non-GMO Project Verified Grain. They also offer an Organic Fed, Certified Naturally Grown line of chicken.

The farm produces a variety of products including pasture-raised meats, raw milk shares, organic cheese, free-range eggs, chemical-free produce, and baked goods. They also offer Great Pyrenees puppies and various home goods. Customers can order online and pick up at the farm or find their products at farmers markets and area drop-offs throughout northern Virginia.
