Homegrown City Farm

Founded in 2015 by a group of urban agriculture enthusiasts, the farm began as a passion project and has since grown into a trusted resource for city residents looking to embrace urban farming and sustainability. Initially starting as a small educational blog, it quickly expanded its offerings to include tools, resources, and expert advice for urban farmers of all levels.

The farm employs intensive and organic farming methods on a quarter-acre plot. Their mission emphasizes promoting community food sovereignty, self-sufficiency, and good land stewardship practices. By growing food and sharing the bounty and lessons of the land, they aim to create meaningful work and provide critically necessary services and products to the community.

In addition to growing vegetables, the farm offers vegetable garden consultation, design, installation, and maintenance services. They sell their produce to local restaurants and to CSA members. Their mission is to empower urban residents with the knowledge and tools to cultivate sustainable urban farms, promoting healthier lifestyles and environmental consciousness.
