About the Farm
Background
Located west of Traverse City in the Long Lake area, the farm is a dream realized for its owners, who have always wanted to cultivate the land. Over the past 12 years, they have operated a CSA program and recently remodeled an old building on the farm to create a farm market and gift shop.
Practices
The farm employs organic practices, avoiding chemical fertilizers and sprays to maintain the health of their crops and land.
The Rest
The farm market and gift shop offer a variety of products including puzzles, chocolate-covered cherries, cherry souvenirs, Long for the Lake t-shirts and mugs, Moomers Ice Cream, crocheted hats, and baked goods. Visitors are welcome to explore the farm and enjoy its unique country setting.
