Practices
The farm adheres to strict organic certification standards, ensuring that all animals receive 100% organically grown feed and are not treated with drugs, hormones, or wormers. The cattle are pasture-raised, allowing them to graze freely and contribute to the health of the land.
The Rest
Beef is sold by the whole, half, and quarter, with halves ranging from 160 to 220 pounds. Hamburger and stew meat from older animals is available at a lower cost. Large quantities of beef are available in October, either at the farm or directly from the butcher. The farm also offers a 'Hamburger Special' at various times throughout the year.
