About the Farm
Background
In 1989, fifteen acres of property were purchased in Warwick, New York with the vision of preserving open, green space. By 1994, High Meadow Flower Farm was established, cultivating five acres of land located in the hills. The farm has grown to offer a wide range of flower products to individuals, wholesale sellers, and for events through their online store.
Practices
The farm's mission includes growing the happiest flowers, encouraging pollinators to thrive, and contributing to cleaner air through CO2 reduction. They gather and save seeds at the end of each season to plant the next generation of flowers. The farm is home to bees, birds, and other pollinators, benefiting from the rocky soil of the Ozark Mountains' foothills.
The Rest
High Meadow Flower Farm attends two Farmers' Markets in New York State's lower Hudson Valley starting in mid-May. They offer fresh cut flower bunches, dried flowers, flower-based products like lotions, soaps, and sprays, as well as edible treats featuring their flowers, such as lavender syrup, teas, and baked goods. The farm is a family endeavor, enjoyed by the owners and their extended family.
