Healthy Hen Farms

John and Betsie McAuley, the owners, were among the first apprentices under Joel Salatin at Polyface Farm in Virginia during the mid-1990s. They bring extensive experience in all-natural pasture-based livestock production and enjoy sharing their knowledge with the community. Together with their six children, they produce high-quality food and aim to make it affordable for their local market.

All animals on the farm are fed a 100% certified organic, non-GMO, and soy-free diet, supplemented with fresh pasture daily. The farm emphasizes all-natural, pasture-based livestock production, ensuring that the animals have access to fresh pasture and a diet free from synthetic inputs.

Products can be purchased directly from the farm or through various farm and retail partners in the Triangle area. The farm is located just outside of Oxford, NC, serving the greater Triangle market.
