About the Farm

Background

Hartwell's Hidden Lake Farm is family owned and operated by Jane and Gary Lederman. Known for their beautiful, mixed flock that produces a colorful selection of eggs, the farm is currently not open to the public but plans to open a pumpkin patch and sunflower field in the fall of 2024. The farm also honors the memory of Aaron 'Butters' Lederman.

Practices

The farm raises chickens on non-GMO feed and natural, pesticide-free vegetation. Jane, a Certified Candler in Georgia, ensures the quality and grading of the eggs.

The Rest

The farm is in the process of establishing a delivery route in Hartwell, offering delivery to homes and offices. They sell a dozen eggs for $3.50. In the future, visitors will be able to pick their own pumpkins, enjoy the sunflower field, and have picnics overlooking the lake. Groups are welcome with advance notice.
