About the Farm
Background
Hartley Farms, a family-owned business, has been providing fresh produce and a unique picking experience since its projected opening on May 25, 2013. Located approximately 7 miles from I-77 just off Route 62 south, the farm has become a local favorite for fresh strawberries and other seasonal produce.
Practices
The farm dedicates 2.5-3 acres to clean strawberry picking, ensuring that visitors can enjoy a wholesome and engaging experience. Containers are supplied for U-pick, making it convenient for families and individuals to gather their own fresh strawberries.
The Rest
In mid-June, Hartley Farms offers half-runner green beans, pickling cucumbers, squash, zucchini, peppers, and cabbage at the Ripley Farmers Market. By July, the farm's popular bi-color corn becomes available. Open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., the farm provides clear signage from the Jackson County Fairgrounds to guide visitors.
