About the Farm
Background
Located in Fluvanna County, Virginia, Harmony Hill Farm spans 180 acres and has been a family-operated endeavor dedicated to producing high-quality food for the local community. Over the years, they have become known for their commitment to natural farming practices and their diverse range of livestock, including Dexter cattle, Hereford pigs, and a variety of poultry.
Practices
Harmony Hill Farm emphasizes farming in harmony with nature, mimicking natural patterns to heal the land and produce healthy soil. Their cattle are grass-fed and finished, rotated to fresh pasture daily without the use of grain, GMOs, or feed lots. Pigs are rotated through the woods, allowing them to root and forage naturally. Poultry, including broiler chickens and turkeys, are raised on pasture during the warmer months, with feed sourced locally and free from GMOs, antibiotics, and hormones.
The Rest
Visitors can purchase products directly from the farm or at a satellite store in Glen Allen. Harmony Hill Farm's offerings are also featured in select fine dining establishments, providing a taste of their high-quality, locally produced meats.
