About the Farm

Background

Happy Hollow Farm, located on the foothills overlooking the Stillaguamish Valley, is a second generation farm. The Vaden Family, who have lived in Snohomish County for over 30 years, took over the farm to fulfill their dream of owning a farm. Molly and Spencer Vaden, married in 1998, have four children and have dedicated themselves to maintaining the farm's legacy.

Practices

The farm raises beef cattle in a non-stress environment, ensuring the calves spend their first year with their mothers. The animals are fed no hormones, grain, or antibiotics. Their diet consists of grass hay harvested from the farm or the Silvana community during winter, and they graze on lush grass in the summer, rotated among pastures. The farm is committed to sustainable practices, environmental responsibility, and caring animal welfare.

The Rest

Happy Hollow Farm offers quarters, halves, or whole packages of beef, with lean ground beef available in one-pound packages. The meat is custom cut by Silvana Meats. The farm also produces fruits, vegetables, chickens, and apple cider. Additionally, they sell grass hay and offer wagon and carriage rides with their team of Belgian horses for weddings, parties, and events.
