Hanson Family Farms and HH Ranch Boer Goats & Dorset Sheep

The farm began with raising pigs and later expanded to include lamb and goats, driven by a desire for chemical-free, preservative-free food. The sheep are Dorsets, known for their high meat-to-bone ratio, the goats are meat goats, and the pigs are Berkshires, a heritage breed recognized for their marbling.

Animals are treated humanely and allowed to pasture during the day, coming closer at night for protection by guardian dogs and horses. They are fed a healthy, wholesome diet without antibiotics, hormones, or growth enhancers.

Visitors often note the friendliness of the breeding herd. The farm also offers pepperoni and teriyaki goat sticks for snacks and lunchboxes.
