Half Acre Farm

Half Acre Farm began when Jared was given the chance to raise pigs on a half-acre plot from his parents. With the support of his father, the farm expanded alongside their family. Today, the farm focuses on providing naturally raised meat to the local community and their own family, offering pasture-raised pork and naturally raised beef.

Heritage breed pigs, including Berkshire and Tamworth, are raised outdoors where they can exhibit natural behaviors. The cattle are grass-fed and grain-finished, consuming hay grown on the farm and spent brewers grain from a small craft brewery in Sacramento. The farm emphasizes providing the best quality of life for their animals from birth to finish.

The farm offers delivery and farmers market pick-ups, as well as animal shares for bulk purchases. They are committed to ensuring customers know where their food comes from and trust the farmers behind it.
