Groff's Content Farm

Bob and Julie Bolton, the owners and ranchers at Groff’s Content Farm, have been ranching for four decades with degrees in rangeland, natural resource, and wildlife management. For the last 15 years, they have been selling their meats directly to customers at Farmers Markets throughout DC and Baltimore, and now also deliver via their online store.

Using rotational grazing strategies informed by years of ranching and resource management, the farm supplements the animals' diet with sprouted seed fodder grown on the farm. This method produces meats with higher levels of healthy omega-3 fats, beta-carotene, iron, Vitamins D & E, and selenium, as well as more conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) compared to conventional, confinement-raised, grain-fed meats.

Visitors are welcome to the farm, which also features an assortment of critters for fun. Products can be picked up at various Farmers Markets or directly from the farm by calling in advance. The farm also offers a mobile app for special offers and easy ordering.
