Green Thumb Organics Farms

Founded by Rudy Jimenez, who grew up in a farmworker family, Green Thumb Organics is a four-acre certified organic farm located in San Juan Bautista, California. The farm distinguishes itself from large-scale conventional farms in the area by selling produce directly to the public at farmers markets, including the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market in San Francisco and the Heart of The City Farmers Market.

Green Thumb Organics adheres to certified organic farming methods, focusing on growing a variety of vegetables and fruits such as lettuce, kale, cabbage, celery, strawberries, dill, and radishes. The farm emphasizes direct sales to consumers, fostering a closer connection between the farm and the community.

The farm's participation in farmers markets, facilitated by organizations like CUESA, has been instrumental in its growth and success.
