About the Farm
Background
The farm has been a fixture at local farmers' markets, including the DSU Farmers' Market from 2008 to 2010 and the Milford Farmers' Market in subsequent years. They have offered CSA memberships for seven years, despite challenges like a hurricane and an extended trip to South America for their son's wedding. Their gardening experience spans two years with a market farmer in Lancaster, PA, and fifteen years farming in Paraguay, South America.
Practices
The farm employs organic methods in the traditional sense, utilizing large amounts of organic matter to enrich their sandy soil. They use high tunnels to extend the growing season to nearly year-round and are continually experimenting with new and interesting vegetables.
The Rest
