About the Farm
Background
Located in Franklin, MA, Grateful Farm has been cultivating vegetables using organic methods since 1983. Known for its commitment to local agriculture, the farm supplies produce to markets, restaurants, and through its Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
Practices
Employing organic farming methods, the farm ensures that all produce is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. The focus is on maintaining soil health and biodiversity, which in turn supports the production of high-quality vegetables.
The Rest
In addition to the CSA program, which runs from the first week of June to the first week of November, the farm offers a Greenbucks program for those who wish to support local agriculture without becoming CSA members. The CSA provides a variety of vegetables, enough to feed two to four people, with shares priced at $550 for 22 weeks. Payment plans are available to accommodate different financial situations.
