About the Farm
Background
Founded in 1897 by George Washington Frazier, the Frazier family has raised premium hogs in Northeastern Indiana for over 125 years. Since the 1920s, the Fraziers have sold top stock to farms across the Midwest. Today, the farm is led by 4th generation brothers, Lee & Tom Frazier.
Practices
The farm raises heritage breed hogs, specifically the English Large White, sourced from exclusive herds in the United Kingdom. They use breeding techniques honed over the last 125 years, combining knowledge of each bloodline with modern technology to select the highest quality hogs. The hogs are fed exclusively on non-GMO grain and are humanely raised.
The Rest
The farm offers direct delivery to customers in the Great Lakes region and sells their products at local Farmer’s Markets including Edgebrook, Roscoe Village, South Loop, and Southport. Their online store provides an easy way to purchase premium pork for pick-up at these markets.
