About the Farm
Background
The farm has been in the family for six generations, located in the Manchester area. It spans 250 acres and combines traditional farming wisdom with modern techniques. Mike and Kathy Fusilier, along with their sons Chad, Travis, and his wife Melissa, currently manage the farm. They operate two farm stores in Manchester and Chelsea and attend seven farmers markets across southeast Michigan.
Practices
The farm has recently started producing winter vegetables in greenhouses without using heat, in collaboration with Michigan State University. This initiative aims to promote and encourage year-round locally produced fruits and vegetables. The farm emphasizes authenticity, honesty, and hard work, ensuring that what customers see is what they get.
The Rest
In addition to farm stores and farmers markets, the farm offers home delivery services, bringing fresh produce directly to customers' doorsteps. They are committed to providing the highest quality produce and fostering a relationship with their customers through their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
