About the Farm

Background

For over 33 years, this family-owned and operated farm has been raising some of the finest grass-fed beef in Western Washington. Known for their commitment to humane and environmentally friendly practices, they have served the Seattle area with high-quality meats since 1980. The farm's reputation for excellent beef at affordable prices has garnered a loyal customer base, with many repeat clients and referrals.

Practices

From the beginning, the farm has adhered to organic practices, avoiding the use of hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, and herbicides. Their cattle are raised on lush pastures, allowed to forage freely for their entire lives, and never confined. The farm's dedication to daily pasture checks and individual animal care ensures the highest standards of animal welfare. The cattle are pastured for 16-22 months and are GMO-free.

The Rest

The farm operates on five pastures in Skagit and Snohomish Counties, producing between 280 and 300 calves annually. Their beef is processed by a partner butcher in Silvana, ensuring quality from pasture to plate. The family takes great pride in their work, aiming to provide the best tasting, locally raised grass-fed beef to their community. Customers from Seattle, Everett, and Bellingham can easily place orders for quarter, half, or whole beef portions.
