About the Farm
Background
Since 2015, the Salerno family has operated a 130-acre farm in Lehighton, PA. Initially starting with fresh strawberries, pumpkins, and sunflowers, they expanded their operations in April 2016 to include Christmas trees. Each spring, they plant an additional 7,000 trees, now boasting over 56,000 trees. The farm has also become a popular wedding venue, utilizing their pole barn for events over the past three years.
Practices
All vegetables are grown following organic principles, ensuring that the produce is cultivated without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. The farm's commitment to organic methods reflects a dedication to both the health of the land and the quality of the produce.
The Rest
The farm offers a 30-member CSA program lasting 21 weeks during the summer. Visitors can enjoy seasonal activities such as strawberry picking, pumpkin sales at the roadside stand, and selecting fresh Christmas trees and wreaths during the holiday season. For updated information, visitors are encouraged to check the farm's Facebook page.
