About the Farm

Flint Farm has been a cornerstone of Mansfield since 1868. Originally a dairy farm operated by the Flint family for five generations, it transitioned to retail vegetable production in 1986 after selling the cows. Currently, it is run by the fifth and sixth generations of the Flint family, continuing to evolve with the support of the local community.

Practices

The farm focuses on retail vegetable production, growing a diverse array of crops including corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, summer squash, eggplant, onions, peppers, spinach, basil, gourds, and pumpkins. They also offer Christmas trees and wreaths during the holiday season. The emphasis is on providing fresh, quality products throughout the year.

The Rest

In addition to produce, Flint Farm offers ice cream, honey, straw, corn stalks, and mulch. The farm operates from early spring to late fall, providing friendly service and a variety of goods to the community. The farm's ice cream stand and mulch stand are conveniently located on East Street in Mansfield.
