About the Farm
Background
A family-owned and operated farm since 1911, located on the eastern shore of Lake Okeechobee, known for its gourmet mangos and other exotic edibles. Formerly known as Lyn-Dale’s Fruit, the Erickson family has been part of the Florida agricultural industry for over a century, supporting the local economy and providing employment to exceptional men and women.
Practices
Crop management practices are nature-friendly, focusing heavily on growing strong, healthy crops through proper cultivation techniques and carefully monitored plant nutrition. Although not organic, the farm emphasizes the protection and preservation of natural resources.
The Rest
Visitors can enjoy the farm market or order fruit shipped directly to their home or office. The farm also provides mango leaves and paan (betel leaf) to Asian communities. Despite recent challenges with crop yields, the farm continues to offer a variety of tropical fruits and maintains a strong connection to its heritage and community.
