Background
Established in 2019, Ellie's Veggie Stand began when a three-year-old's love of gardening led to an abundant harvest, prompting the family to share their excess produce with the public.
Practices
All produce is organically grown in a 1/4 acre garden, emphasizing natural cultivation methods without the use of synthetic chemicals.
The Rest
The vegetable stand operates on a donation basis, with proceeds going to the children's savings accounts. The farm also grows giant competition pumpkins and participates in the Charlotte Artisans and Farmers Market on Thursdays from 2-6pm.
