Located at 8,200 feet near Routt National Forest, the ranch is known for its bison that exclusively eat the legendary North Park hay. The ranch harvests bison once per year in the fall, ensuring that each animal has spent the summer grazing on lush grasses. The bison are raised on a diet of 100% grass, specifically the native North Park hay, and are never finished on grain. They roam freely in their natural environment, without the use of antibiotics or growth hormones.
