About the Farm
Background
The Cecchi family has farmed in Feeding Hills since 1924 and has been at their current location since 1946. As a fourth generation family farm, they have a long-standing tradition of cultivating a variety of plants and produce.
Practices
In their greenhouses, they grow a wide range of annuals, perennials, herbs, and vegetable plants. From their fields, they produce a variety of vegetables and berries in season, ensuring a diverse and plentiful harvest.
The Rest
Open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, April through mid-October, they offer products including blackberries, cantaloupe, raspberries, strawberries, watermelons, and a wide array of herbs and vegetables such as basil, cilantro, dill, oregano, parsley, rosemary, sage, thyme, asparagus, beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, gourds, green beans, lettuce, snap peas, peppers, pumpkins, radishes, rhubarb, scallions, spinach, summer squash, swiss chard, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, winter squash, and zucchini. Additionally, they provide bedding plants, corn stalks, cut flowers, daylilies, hanging baskets, herb plants, mums, and vegetable starts.
