About the Farm
Background
Two decades ago, the farm was purchased by first-generation farmers to preserve the small farming industry in the Hudson Valley. They revitalized neglected orchards and vineyards, replanting fruit trees and expanding the farm by 15 acres. The farm has become known for its diverse fruit offerings and colonial-era setting.
Practices
The farm focuses on replanting and revitalizing older fruit varieties, maintaining healthy orchards and vineyards. They have constructed outbuildings and animal areas reminiscent of colonial times, creating an idyllic setting that reflects a piece of Olde New England.
The Rest
Visitors can enjoy a range of activities including a corn maze, tractor-pulled wagon rides, and visits with farm animals. The farm market offers local products and homemade treats like apple cider donuts. The Tavern provides local wine, hard cider, and craft beer. The farm also hosts school groups, birthday parties, and special events.
