Devonside

Devonside is known for its dedication to raising American Milking Devons, a breed descended from the original North Devons of England. These animals are celebrated for their production of rich milk, well-marbled beef, and their capabilities as draft animals.

From May until November, the beef cattle are rotationally grazed on 35 acres of permanent pasture. During the winter months, they consume organically grown hay, supplemented with free-choice minerals. The cattle always have access to the outdoors and shelter with clean, dry straw. They receive no grain, antibiotics, hormones, or GMO feeds—only grass, hay, minerals, clean water, and loving care.

In addition to raising breeding stock, Devonside offers high-quality grass-fed beef by the box or quarter, available in season through advanced orders. Visitors are welcome to meet the Devon herd by arranging a visit in advance. More information and photos are available on their website.
