Destiny's Garden Herbs

Destiny's Garden Herbs has been in existence for over 25 years, with occasional brief hiatuses. They sell and deliver their products to area restaurants and the general public through farmers markets and special orders. Although they do not have a public storefront or regular hours, they offer pre-arranged tours of their plots for individuals or small groups.

Located in an urban setting within Matthew 25's 'Cultivate Hope' Urban Farm and home plots on the SW side of Cedar Rapids, the farm guarantees that no chemicals are used on their land or plants. Seeds come from non-GMO, open-pollinated sources or are saved through their own seed-saving practices. The land has been chemical-free for over 20 years. Despite not being officially certified organic due to the associated costs, they ensure that all items are chemical, poison, growth hormone, and GMO-free.

Chefs are always welcome for tours, emphasizing the importance of knowing the source of their ingredients. The farm is a small business working to establish a solid footing in the community.
