About the Farm

Background

Located in the Potomac Highlands of eastern West Virginia, the farm has become known for its hardy, easy-care sheep. Over the years, it has built a reputation for producing high-quality fiber and grass-fed lamb, attracting visitors who are interested in seeing the sheep and purchasing products directly from the source.

Practices

The farm raises sheep as kindly and naturally as possible, eschewing the use of growth hormones and antibiotics. The sheep have free access to a barn but prefer to graze and rest under the trees in the fresh mountain air. This approach ensures the animals live in a stress-free environment, which in turn contributes to the quality of the wool and meat produced.

The Rest

Visitors are welcome to the farm, where they can purchase fiber and grass-fed lamb. A limited number of pasture-raised lambs are available each summer, and interested customers are encouraged to contact the farm for more information.
